Southview Arrives!
On the 30th of September 1983, the final Planned Unit Development (PUD) documents for the Southview PUD were recorded at the Lane County courthouse in Eugene. Southview was born! In 1987, the 1st lot was sold. In 1988, Paradise Homes built the show home (currently owned by Peter and Christina Bonee).
Shown here is the original price list for the lots here at Southview provided to us by Don Davidson.
When one compares the original prices paid for lots here with the prices being paid for lots in the late 1990’s ($160K-$200K), one can readily see that Southview is becoming a premier spot on the Oregon coast, one highly sought after by distinguished and successful people.
