Why This Web Site?

First, let us say Welcome! to our first attempt at putting a web site together!  Mary and I hope your time here will be memorable, and that you’ll come back and visit often.

Our hope is to satisfy several appetites here.  First and foremost, we want to share the stunning beauty that surrounds us here at our special place on the Oregon coast.  We’ll attempt to do that by posting lots of photographs showing the area surrounding Southview as well as some shots inside our neighborhood, and providing an extra large helping of our always memorable sunsets!

Secondly, for those of you convinced that Southview is the place that you too want to live after seeing all the stunning scenery, we provide some information about the Southview experience.  Toward that end, we are posting the history of this great place as well as who we are, what the governing documents for the Southview Homeowner's Association and the Southview Improvement District look like, and information about real estate which might be for sale inside our neighborhood.
